What happens next

We aim to review phishing and malware reports within 24 hours, and other reports within 48 hours.
If a code or page breaks our rules or the law, we disable it. People who scan it see a safety notice instead of the destination.
We use your report only to investigate it and, if needed, to report illegal content to the authorities.
If we disabled your code and you think we got it wrong, choose “Complaint about a decision we made” above.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police first.
